Sheep and Pies

I'm watching a horse graze with great cinematic depth...Sweetgrass is this alternative style film that's mostly documentary, but has the scope of a cinematic movie.  It's about sheepherders and their work, like Brokeback Moutain without the queer themes.  It's horrific, brutal and completely eye-opening.  And yes, there are very cute baby lambs running about guarded by a ton of fluffy, white Kuvaszs, but you gotta get past the tossing, tail-cutting and branding of said lambs first.

And on the grand scheme of things:
