The Case for Falling in Love

http://mariruti.com/love.html

Hear her speak today at the WCC.  It's a progressive self-help book for straight women, but there are plenty of universal themes in the second half, when she gets through bashing other parochial materials on the subject of pursuing relationships.  I should pick this up during a break because it is a good merge between mainstream and academic discussion of a very mainstream topic, and she might have other works of personal interest in academic.  My favorite part about the talk is that she is a straight, middle-upper class white woman who has taught graduate queer theory at Harvard.  Hurrah for competence and plurality.

Now to catch up on 2 weeks of physics.  Hurrah for incompetence.
